This page provides some basic information about how to get the most out of this site. It is a work in progress. We will continue to improve it over time and as the site evolves.
The Main Thing
While we have established formal guidelines for the site, the main thing here is simply to be respectful and to be generous.
We encourage you to always lean toward sharing. While we have tried to provide some structure to the discussion areas (more on that below), we know we probably don’t have that exactly right and will improve over time. In the meantime, there is no wrong place to share.
A Helpful Video
Here’s an overview video that walks through some of the key features of the site.
Forum Power Tips
- If you highlight text in a forum, you’ll see that a floating toolbar appears to enable you format the text (e.g., bullets, italics) as well as to insert a link.
- If you us “@” plus a members user name in a post, that member will automatically be notified that you have mentioned them. To find a member’s user name, you can search for them under Members, then click on their profile. Their user name is next to their photo (or where their photo should be!) with an “@” in front of it. So, for example, Jeff’s is @jcobb and Celisa’s is @celisa-steele.
As noted above, we’ve tried to provide some structure to the discussion areas. These are mostly (but not entirely) based upon the domains of the Tagoras Learning Business Maturity Model. We’ll figure out over time – through your participation and feedback – whether this approach works. In the meantime, here are the longer descriptions we used to have for each forum area. (Updates to the software we use has since truncated these.)
This is where we make announcements about updates or other news that impacts community members.
